Who we are
Scuba Diving Crete, a dive centre in Agios Vasileios, Plakias, Crete. You can reach us on the phone number and email address in the footer of every page.
What this website collects
There is no contact form, no account, no newsletter and no online payment on this site, so we collect no personal data through it directly. The only thing stored in your browser without asking is your cookie choice itself, so we do not have to ask again.
Cookies, analytics and the map
Nothing else loads until you choose. If you accept in the cookie banner, three things load: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which show us which pages are useful and where people get stuck, and the Google Map on the home page, with directions to the dive centre. All three set cookies, and Google and Microsoft receive data about your visit, which they may process in the United States. Advertising features stay off, and we share nothing with advertisers. If you reject, none of them load and the site works the same, except that the map shows our address and a link to Google Maps instead. The map also has its own button, which loads the map alone. To change your mind, use Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; once you withdraw, nothing loads from the next page you open.
Messaging us
The contact buttons open WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own privacy terms. If you message us, we see your message and the phone number you send it from, and we keep that conversation so we can organise your diving. We do not add you to any marketing list.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the email address in the footer and we will respond.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you want to know exactly what we hold, ask us. A short honest answer is easier for both of us than a long policy.
