Had a great day diving with Jannis, he’s an actual local to Plakias area and super knowledgeable about dive sites there. He made the whole experience seamless and super easy - communicating, booking the charter, and setup and tear down. The shore dives in Damnoni were a blast. I would 100% recommend booking him if you’re looking for a more personalized dive experience versus the bigger dive shops in town. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be diving with him again!

The person you dive with
You will be diving with Giannis
Not a rotating staff of instructors. The same person takes the booking, drives you to the site, runs the briefing and gets in the water with you. He is a local, he speaks German and Greek as well as English, and he is named in almost every review this business has.
I had never done it before and I was phobic, but Giannis inspires me with great trust and confidence.

Jannis took plenty of time to explain the current weather conditions to me and advised against the Advanced Diver course in such unsettled conditions.
Three things worth knowing
The only SSI centre
in Plakias. Theory runs on your phone before you arrive, so the holiday is spent in the sea.
One boat, everyone
Divers, first-timers and snorkellers on one trip. Six guests maximum.

The whole group
One person wanting to dive should not decide everyone's day
Most dive centres are built around the diver. That works until someone in the group does not dive. Our boat takes non-divers. The same reef is worth snorkelling. Nobody waits in a car park.
Where we dive
Three sites along this coast. Schinaria for its cave and walls, Damnoni for shallows that drop into gorges, Peristerovolakas for reef that slides into open blue.
